Job description:
Unique Minds Academy is seeking dynamic, outgoing, and creative Educational Assistants to join our growing private school for neurodiverse children. We are looking for individuals who think outside the box, love working with kids, and bring positive energy to the classroom every day.

Positions Available:

• Pre-Academy Classroom (Early Learning Foundation & Readiness Program)
• Intermediate 1 – Grades 5–6

Responsibilities:

• Support individualized learning based on each child’s needs
• Assist lead teachers with programming, activities, and classroom routines
• Promote social, emotional, and academic development
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive environment
• Collaborate effectively with the classroom team

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in ECE, DECE, CYW, DSW, or related field
• Experience working with children with ASD is an asset
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm
• Willingness to learn and adapt to student needs
